Kyle is right. You better start working out right now because your clutch pedal is going to be stiff. Yes, the clutch will help get a little more power to the wheels, but there will be a lot of clutch chatter. Takeoffs will not be nearly as smooth as an OEM clutch. Unless you plan on building a monster 5S-FTE, you're better off with a Stage 1 clutch. You sacrifice driveability with a stiffer clutch. clutches do NOT add power the upgraded materials and pressure plate allow it to hold more power without slippage. a stage 3 clutch, on a near stock motor is 100% usless IMO. pedal feel, clutch life, and driveablility all go down the higher stage of clutch you use. but if you drive it hard isn't it better to have a higher stage clutch than oem?? Evan if stock? -------------------- |

Evan if stock? not on a stockish car. the stock clutch will give you the best feel, and longest life. unless your turbo'd, anything more than a stage one is totally pointless IMO. if your not planning on turboing, paying more for an aftermarket clutch is all about being able to say "i have a stage whatever brand clutch in my car". not more performance. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
