hey thre its time it is that time for a new battery . I have been poking around and looking at batteries and i did not really find a difference in any of them. should i just go with a duralast or more expensive like an optima? i saw that the optima has a higher reserve but wouldnt that only matter when the car is not running? Seems like a waste of money but i could be wrong. so any helpful advice of batteries any of you guys have tired what to get or what not to get would be great smile.gif thanks

optima batteries use a spiral cell design which is a newer design providing higher cold cranking amps and lasts about 2x longer (but also cost about 2x more). i'm using one now for the extra CCA. there was a thread here that mentioned how most of today's batteries are made by the same company, so it doesn't really matter which brand you go with.
