is the control module the silver box with the yellow sticker under the center console? thanks

Yeah, I've got a question about that.. I was taking off the center pieces (with the armrest), and when I pulled it up and saw the box, I was a little shocked, but proceeded carefully. However, attached to my center armrest is a wire, screwed into a little plastic piece, connected directly below where the ashtray is. On the little plastic piece is a lightbulb. After unscrewing this wire from the bottom of the armrest, you have to unclip it from a hinge to take it off..
Now I'm curious, why is there a wire to a light bulb in an area completely un-see-able to anyone in the car? Does it have something to do with the airbag, since it looks like it's coming from that sensor thing..? -Brian |
