Hi Guys,
i am just wondering what would be the best cold air intake pipe diameter for a 3rd gen 3sge with a throttle body of 65mm (2 and 5/8"). my current setup uses 3" diameter which i think is good at the higher rpm range but i feel that i'm losing some in the bottom to mid range. i wanted to use the same diameter as the throttle body but the only available pipe size in my location is 2.5" only. do you think that this would be very restrictive at higher rpms? my car is a daily driver and i use it on the track very seldom. but i run full throttle on the streets whenever possible. thanks. |

![]() i was joking with him. you fail at failing. when people hear their car more than normal their gonna feel as if its faster. not true hp but makes you feel good having more mods than stock. its still adding something... Evan if its only 2-4hp or so mods add up power real quick! This post has been edited by terbear4god4life: May 26, 2010 - 1:35 AM -------------------- |
