Sport bike manufactures, general consensus Options

Just notice alot of 6gc owners are also motorcycle riders. Maybe the few of you can answer my question. If you haven't notice; I recently got a kawasaki 636 zx6r. And I love the bike but everywhere I look i see people complaining about Kawasaki. I understand the whole "brand loyalty" and trash talk behind other manufactures. But what seems to be the dirt behind kawasaki?


To be honest i personally am a Yamaha fan; they make engines for Toyota. They also make musical instruments and a whole lot of other stuff. Where as kawasaki is simply a motorcycle manufacture. Why would a company so specialized had such a bad rap on the streets?

I still think the 05-07 zx6rs look the best. With projectors and Audi led addition is pure pornographic.

To get back on topic, I realized Kawasaki engineering is on the rudimentary side. For example; the chain adjustment system on my bike is done by eyeball it with notches. Also Kawasaki motorcycles are always under powered in the same class and have less fancy technology in them. For example the Yamaha have a fancy cross plane crankshaft with variable valve timing.
