Hey guys/girls, I have a problem. I have a 5 speed and whenever I do normal driving, the car runs excellent. But whenever I start from a stop and take the rpm over 5k and try to shift into 2nd gear it does not go into gear. Earlier today I was unable to get into 2nd, 4th, and reverse. Any advice?

It sounds to me like your clutch is going out. Maybe you burnt it out shifting into 2nd at 5K RPMS. WHY are you shifting at 5K RPMS!?

Still, you're shifting at too high RPMs and you're just burning up your clutch. So it's entirely possible that your clutch is going out. When you got it replaced (how many miles ago? 600x?) did you have the flywheel turned? Replace the throwout bearing? What kind of clutch (brand, type) did you install?
