Hey guys,
I have the 96-99 fog lights already installed in my car. I was just wondering how can I run them to turn on when you just have the parking lights on? Right now, it only turns on when I put the headlights on. Oh, and I have the OEM light switch for the fog lights and I'm not thinking of running another aftermarket switch just for this. |

One thing, before you find the fog relay and do what Malpaso posted prior. I would connect the #30 and #87 wires to the parking-light relay and keep the high-current circuit (foglights, #85, #86) separate from the low-current switch (fog switch, #30, #87) circuit. Can't say you'd surely have issues directly switching the lights, but I'm not sure just how much current the foglight switch can handle.
Back on topic, you're looking at the wrong fuse/relay box. The one with the fog relay is under the driver-side kick panel. Jump into your driver's seat, reach down to the left of the clutch/brake pedal and you'll feel a plastic nut. Unscrew it, then you'll need to pull off some of the door trim. Pull all the trim out and then pull the kick-panel off. You'll see a bunch of wires and a jumper block or two. The foglight relay is at the top, it's hard to see/get to because there's such little room to work with. You may need to pull the lower-dash under the steering wheel as well. There's 4 screws to get it all off I believe. -------------------- ~Moving on to a 2002 Corolla S~ R.I.P Tom Celica - 1994-2010 |
