Ive been looking into the 4A series motors and i came across the 4A-FHE. What does the H denote? Ive seen that Toyota added something new to the fuel injection or changed the fuel injection in some way?
The FHE series head also puts out ~10 hp more than the FE series head and was supposed to be simply a performance tuned ecu from Toyota. I picked up a FHE ecu and it definitely doesnt work on a FE head. The engine will crank, but dies immediately after.
I originally thought timing until i ran across the part about the fuel upgrade. Otherwise, the motors and head are said to be the same? Anybody know anything about this?

4A-FHE Same as the first generation 4A-FE, only more aggressive tuned for more output. Called an EFI-S engine.
