want to get lower spring?any suggestion Options

hey guys I just bought my 17' rims and I found that it makes my st slightly higher than on my original rims, offset 48 but it doesnt scrub anything under fender...

just wondering if there any prob when I change the springs.. dont want to spend too much on coilover...

ok A-im not talking about the tool, and B-do wee need to get so negative here i mean come on, go ahead and spend all the money you would liike, i have had them on my car for almost a year now and havent had a single probleme.

This is what he is using as a lowering method

sorry for the size but as you can see not a good method seeing as it tightens up the spring causing damage to the spring and shock when driven on due to restriction.

Edit:Oh ya and this is what happens when they fail (and they will)

This is what he is using as a lowering method

is that a guess cos they look like spring compression tools which would interfere with the suspension travel,

he might just be using clamps which really should only be used at shows to lower the car that little bit further while stationary (it usually says it on the box)
