I have a 97 Celica GT 2.2 li and these cars are not gas saver at all. The gas drop like everything time you step on the gas pedal..what can be done? I am starting to hate driving it cause i can't afford gas no more it it takes $40.00+ to fill it up. I travel 30 miles to work everyday and I almost have to gas twice a week. Sometimes I wish i could have bought a Honda Civic. I mean seriously this car ain't that fast but it uses so many gas compare to Acuras and Hondas..Maybe thinking about selling my car now, but i will hate to see it go.

haha even stomping it you should get 10 litres per 100km which I get even in my mums hyundai getz when I drive it hard, do your spark plugs, leads, distributor cap, rotor and you will see results
