i have a set of tanabe df210 springs. the instructions say to cut the bump rubber. what exactly is that? does it effect ride height, because my car doesn't look like it has a 2.2 inch drop right now. thanks.

^^^^ Bump stops looks like that I was told to never cut that piece unless you know what you were doing supposedly your suppose to cut that if you lower your car more then 1.5 its their to keep your suspension from bottoming out. I'm sure you know that the springs needs to be broken in too right ?? That's why it doesn't look like its a 2.2 drop yet. I'm dropped 1.8 on all 4 corners and I didn't cut my bump stops no problems here either. -------------------- "To Protect And To Serve The Wealthy" -POLICE
