I have a 97 Celica GT 2.2 li and these cars are not gas saver at all. The gas drop like everything time you step on the gas pedal..what can be done? I am starting to hate driving it cause i can't afford gas no more it it takes $40.00+ to fill it up. I travel 30 miles to work everyday and I almost have to gas twice a week. Sometimes I wish i could have bought a Honda Civic. I mean seriously this car ain't that fast but it uses so many gas compare to Acuras and Hondas..Maybe thinking about selling my car now, but i will hate to see it go.

I get around 650Km before my petrol light comes on in my Beams.
I use super unleaded (99oct) and a litre of pro-boost per fill. I drive on roads just one step up from dirt tracks, so plenty of changing up/down etc. But I drive like your grandad's grandad........mostly. |
