The Celica kits ARE NOT poly fiber... they are made completely of FIBERGLASS... 3 to 4 layers to be exact. I know because I used to sell the kits to this community. And it does NOT take 1 to 1.5 months to get... If I were still selling it, I could get it to your location within 2 weeks. As for fitment, most of the time people will encounter problems. I know I had slight fitment problems with their kit, but my body shop was able to make some adjustments to make it work. Now here's the deal with the fitment. Most people here have bought their cars used, which means they don't totally know its history (and NO... CARFAX is NOT accurate since a lot of people don't report incidents with their cars). Now the only way that I can see the car having slight fitment problems is if the car was in a front-side collision and it wasn't repaired completely/properly (i.e. realigning the frame). I was in a front-side collision just before I had my Invader put on, which would explain why the Invader front didn't fit properly at first. In addition, my GT-FOUR bumper, which is what I have now, didn't fit properly a few weeks ago until my body shop realigned my frame (something that the previous shop never repaired and failed to report to me). So there you have it folks... if you have fitment problems, most likely it's due to some type of front-end accident. Any GOOD body shop can overcome this and make the bumper fit nice and snug. |
