Ever since I had my GT-4 hood put on the passenger side of the hood always say slightly above the fender. Here are some pictures to show you what I mean.
![]() ![]() And, here on the driver's side the hood sits perfect as soon below. ![]() Any ideas what can cause this? Anyone who did the GT-4 front end conversion experience this? I've tried a number of things to try to fix this. I even tried to push it down myself and put a slight tiny dent on the hood now. Is there a slight problem with the hood seeing that it came off a RHD GT-4. Cause I know with RHD Celica's the black plastic cover where the wipers are are shaped differently than the LHD ones cause the wipers face the other way. my hood looks just like yours does, and I know what causes that. its from closing the hood when there is still a tool in the engine bay. I had the misfortune of leaving a socket on the passenger fender (right where it bolts to the unibody) and closing the hood. theres been a slight raise ever since
