I bought a new EGR valve from Autozone and it has a hole on the "stem" where the stock part has a closed off stump. This is what it looks like:
:This is a picture from Sinyk's thread, notice that it's closed/covered.... ![]() What's the best way to deal with it? |

I ended up sealing it up with JB Cold Weld.
I have another noob question now though. How exactly do you unscrew the main bolt at the base of the stem, the part that connects with the pipe that goes to the manifold? It's too tight to get a wrench in there, and the pipe doesn't feel like it's flexible.... |
