does anyone know what else is needed when buying these like a new harness or something dont think i have heard anything about this?

no. they didn't even know what it was, what it was to, or what part number it was. they just found it. just ask for a 3pronged connector, and take the little thing that holds the headlight in with you, so you can test it out...
