So, it was decided that a new thread should be made for the next attempt for the Midwest meet later this summer.

Starved Rock
Utica, IL

We are first going to have a discussion about the best date for the event, then I will start the list of attendee's. Since bitter(I"m assuming) and I will be there regardless of date, weather, etc. You can PM us if there are any questions not handled in the thread.

Update: The meet will take place at Starved Rock on July 31, 2010. I'm going to try to be there around 12:00pm

Bump because so far only BloodMoney and I have confirmed?? Come on!

Checked my schedule today. I'm definitely in. If anybody is coming from the St. Louis area or anywhere south of Starved Rock, PM me to get my phone number and we can caravan up there. I will be stopping off in the nearest town for a quick car wash and food. I'll probably be there between 11-12, assuming I can find the place.

Since I am definitely in, definitely coming, I think I'll bring a 12 pack of Coca Cola, a 12 pack of Dr. Pepper, and some buns for both hot dogs and hamburgers. I might also bring a portable sound dock for an iPod if anybody has a cool playlist to listen to while we are sitting around.
