Next week I'm going to be putting JDM fenders on my car - they won't have the pinstripes the rest of my car has, so I'd like to take the opportunity to completely remove the existing pinstripes and re-stripe in a different color. However, I don't wanna scratch my paint scraping off the old stripes, so is there any way to get them off without harming my clear? They're the stick on type, it seems.

Also, same goes for the celica emblem on the US fender - I'd like to put it on the JDM fenders underneath the sidemarker - is it just 3M tape or is it held in by screws?

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Edit: Here are my stripes:

and here's my emblem:

A blow dryer and some Goo Gone will take the pinstripes right off.

I remember you recommending Goo Gone to remove my overspray too haha, you love that stuff don't you?

Thanks for the tip - good thing I still have a half bottle of the stuff. I assume heat, then spray the Goo Gone, then remove by getting under it with a fingernail and peeling off?
