im currently using a 2 1/4" exhaust pipe from CAT to muffler,i like the top end power right now,but the car is not torqy enough for me......i was wondering if i go with 2" will i lose top end power but gain mid range? my engine has only 2 mods,a power deck and an air filter,so far im happy with this and im not looking forward into putting some more mods,im really confused with this exhaust pipe size.
im new with the gen3 3sge,i dont know if changing to a bigger exhaust pipe will gain any power from a stock engine. TIA |

TIA Hi don't go for bigger pipes... get nice manifold,high flow cat and nice brand muffer cheers p.s. btw: the super icon superchip box will improve the power a little
