So I know I just posted a message in the Buying/Selling section, but I was offered a hood (mine was closed on tools by the previous owner, bows badly on both sides, and for some reason slopes to below the fender line where it attaches to the clips by the windshield), right fender (to replace the replica one I have now which doesn't line up well), and new undercarriage plastics (since an oil change left me with all of mine ripped) installed for $400. Both the hood and the fender are the same red that my car already is which is good, but if I could save money by installing everything myself, that would be even better.

So my question for you guys is are the hood and fender easy to install by yourself? Has anyone put up steps for how to do so (I searched the forums but couldn't find anything)? I have a garage filled with tools and a friend who has done some body work before, but has never installed a hood or fender, so I'm undecided about what to do.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

that should cover both. hardest part will probably be just lining them up right. but yeah, if you do it urself, that will save alot of money. smile.gif
