It's been sitting on Craigslist for a long time now. I'd probably only offer $500, fix it up so it runs and then make my car a project car. Let me know what you think and if it is even worth it. Thanks! (edit: new topic title) This post has been edited by mkernz22: Aug 5, 2010 - 8:31 PM |

I'd do some research on it- get on some Supra forums, find out about common issues, check on how much a new motor will cost, insurance, etc. and then decide if you want to spend that sum of money on it. Whatever the total comes out to be may be worth it to you because you like the car, whereas it might not be worth it to me because I'm not as fond of it. Or maybe it would be worth it to me, but not you. The thing about old cars is that it is difficult to place a numerical value on what they are worth because each person is willing to pay a different amount for it. Case in point. http://carbondale.craigslist.org/pts/1824692535.html
As for the '97 Celica, part that sucker out! Make some cash to rebuild your car, as well has having the parts that you need.
