i just bought a carbon fiber hood and it isn't completely flush like the stock hood, there's a tiny gap almost unnoticeable but to me i can see it. I looked to see if there was anyway to drop the hood latch assembly and there isn't. So what can i do to make it flush?

options: 1. Leave it the way it is, cool air will be forced through that gap, toyota did that with the new LFA.
2. drill lower holes to bolt the hood latch a little lower (risky doing so if its a small gap, might not work) 3. screw the hood latch, go with pins, might or might not work depending on how low it has to go. let us know how it turns out. |
