Junkyard Hunting in Okinawa.... Options

So, the weather let up a little and I decided to go to the local junkyards to see what I could find. Low and behold for 7000 yen (around 85 buck with the exchange rate) I found all kinds of treasures =)











Seems like my project is coming right along... Tonight I will post pics of all the blue LED's I've used in the interior (Damn my overhead courtesy lights are bright (blue) now) over in the interior section later.

Sadly, usually when you buy things from dealers, an APO costs more (almost like shipping overseas) and some companies are not willing to ship some or all products to an APO. It is kind of frustrating. I have made friends with people who live off-base though so if I can source some JDM parts from local in Japan, I can have them sent to a local address =D

It would be easier to just have them wrapped up as "parts" and sent that way...but lets not get into that. But shipping always sucks, you should load up, then take leave then sell it CONUS.
