what is involved in removing the power steering in the ST?

what is involved in removing the power steering in the ST? Do people still *think* this can increase power? Anyway... umm, remove the belt, take off the pump, lines, and plug your steering rack. this is NOT the case. if anything you need to connect the top threaded hose connection to the bottom on the steering rack. otherwise the fluid inside it will build pressure on onside or the other depending on which way you are turning. so if anything just connect them together and it'll actually help a little. -------------------- proud =3sgte SWAPPED= '95 Celica ST owner [calling it the GT2 or half-trac]
