Lol, memories.
I remember when I first joined I did the same thing, and got reamed about using search....which you should =P I have that exact header. Adds a bit of noise to a ST, bit louder at the exhaust end. Hard to hear if you already have a SRI or CAI. ' You can hear your valves clicking like crazy...that is if yours click. Performance changes are certainly there as well. Some good, some bad. 2nd, 3rd opened up a ton nearing the end of the gear. Lost some take off, but that could be specific to my cellie. I assume from loss of back pressure? Only noticable when first taking off, then it breaths much better...throaty as they call it. Edit: You will need to get your downpipe welded to the cat, or some other means. The downpipe also doesn't have the second sensor hole, this does not seem to be a problem if 94-95s, as I've had mine on for well over 5 months and hav't thrown a CEL. I assume with OBDII there is a bit more monitoring on that sensor..? 96+ I'd certainly get that other sensor plugged. This post has been edited by rave2n: Aug 16, 2010 - 9:48 AM |
