I finished Erynn's car last night. havent had a chance to drive it yet. Ill take pictures tonight when i get it home. but it basically looks exactly like mine but a 7A-FE instead of the 5S-FE.
So here is the big question. how much demand is there for a turbo kit? I can re-produce this kit fairly easy. kit will include manifold with lifetime warrenty, Garrett turbo, intercooler, polished aluminium piping, BOV, FMU for fuel, and all fittings and lines for oil. the only thing that the end user will have to do is drop the small oil pan and have the bung welded into it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by Smaay: Aug 27, 2010 - 8:46 AM -------------------- 2001 Celica GT-S Turbo

Update: So i managed to get a set of injectors out of an older MKIII Supra (yellow top 295cc injectors) manny i still want yours, everythign is running pretty smooth! im out test driving, making about 5psi and then fwwapp, the turbo shelled itself
![]() to Stener: 200HP should be fairly easy on a stock block. 250 might be pushing it but i dont know enough about the strength of teh internals. i can tell you this, the 1ZZ-FE rods in the MR2 and 7th gen celica can handle 350 HP and the the 7A rods are much beefier. the pistons also look to be a bit stronger, so take that for what its worth. -------------------- 2001 Celica GT-S Turbo

Alright, thanks. I've been turbocharging alot of Volvos but never on a Toyota so i have no clue how the internal components will react to this! I wanna be on the safe-side since this is my everyday car that i go to the store, work with etc. I'm thinking of using stock air-intake and stock engine including head with original camshafts and all that, And just weld my own twin-entry turbo exhaust manifold and boosting through a intercooler. And i'll probably put in a MegaSquirt unless there's a good chip or something to control the fuel with that doesn't cost a fortune. I don't know what ECU that's stock in these even. And how much boost you think i could run with without wearing out the engine? My english might not be the best, I'm a swede! |
