I lay under my car all the time with a scissor jack on each side lol, I just recently had it up on them for 5 days while i changed my k-frame.. they dont give out, im not even sure how they would, maybe with the exception if you pushed ur car from one side and it tipped over lol.
harbor freight has great! tools for a amateur (like my self) at a low price
