i can vouch for the electric impact. I have two. one 1/2 inch and another 1/4 inch.(snapon) They work wonders!!!! wtf a electric running off the cigarette lighter? All that stuff is garbage. The only time i would use a jack that small is to support and engine while i change a motor mount. I would not want a small jack to hold up an entire car. When you have such a small jack lifting up a car to the highest settings can cause the jack to tip over. The bigger the jack the more and safer it can lift something heavy. I own and use electric wrenches all the time. Its much faster to plug in an electric wrench then to wait for my big air compresses to fill up with air. I do however have a expensive Bosch electric wrench. You guys have pretty much clarified the difference on the electric impact. A name brand one will be pretty good, but that piece of junk sold with the jack won't do much other than turn some screws. -------------------- 1999 Celica GT
