Hey,

I just got that stupid little plastic trim piece that covers the hole around the shifter for an automatic (thanks Mike) but I don't know how to get it in. Do I take off the top part of the shifter? Does anyone have any idea?

Any help would be awesome cuz I dropped another quarter down there today on my way through tolls...

Thanks!

I do mine like this:
1)Pull the gear all the way back to "L" position by pressing that little red button on the gear selector.
2)Put the front of the piece into the two holes on the bigger trim that contains the radio, climate control and stuff.
3)While doing this, shift the gear selector up to a position where it does not block the plastic piece from coming down and fitting into the lower/flat selector part.
hope this helps.
Hey,i don't have any screws on the trim piece that sits around the gear selector. It's just the push/pry thingy, hope you're referring to the same thing. smile.gif
