has anybody done this? Is it a good idea?

Yeah, I've got a welder, and all that jazz, and I know how to use it. I'd probably end up using some sort of hinge from lowes or someone, due to the fact that electric stuff wears out, and I don't need something like that wearing out on something as important as the hood. As far as the props go, that's what has me concerned. how am I going to keep it in the upright position?
And I'll be using mgnt232's idea. Take the hood latch, etc out, and use hood pins. Also, will that upper bar hold the hood? -------------------- 1994 Celica GT, coupe, 5 speed. Front strut brace, cherrybomb glasspack, intake. |
