 Huge misfire, Help please. Misfire issues |

ive got a 94 gt
I got a misfire when I idle at 2k to 3k rpms. Ive changed spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor and distributer coil. Im stuck on this. Im wasting so much gas.. getting like 20mpg. any ideas? thanks in advance |

need more info ...first off Idle at 2k to 3k .....techinically thats not idling ...unless its at 2-3k without you touching the pedal
most people interpret a missfire as many different things can you explain more in depth how you can recreate this missfire ? your speed mph ? are you on the throttle 100% ? has the car have recent work ? when did this start happening ? during this missfire what kinda noise do you hear ?does the rpm stumble? was this car non operative for a long time? any smoke during missfire? any smoke at start? strange smells ? does it happen as your moving the throttle ? is your engine covered in oil dirt or grime heavily anwhere? |
