Hey,

I just got that stupid little plastic trim piece that covers the hole around the shifter for an automatic (thanks Mike) but I don't know how to get it in. Do I take off the top part of the shifter? Does anyone have any idea?

Any help would be awesome cuz I dropped another quarter down there today on my way through tolls...

Thanks!

Thanks everyone for the feedback, but I'm still kinda confused. Here is the piece I'm talking about:

Also, can anyone describe for me the order in which I'll need to pull things off to rip up the carpet? I picked up some frost king and carpet padding and have done the doors and trunk and am considering lining under the carpet if it's not too difficult.

I'll post pics of whatever I get done once it's all finished. Tryin to get the interior all finished before I move on to the hard part: body work haha.

Thanks guys
