Have to change the shifter cables on my G6 convertible from GT type to ST205 GT4 type. By those who have done it, whats involved and is there anything I should look out for?? Your input will be very helpful - thanks. |

205 cables dont work with the 204.
to remove 204 cables its just the pins holding the ends on the gear selector arms inside the engine bay, the pins holding the other ends on the shifter assembly inside the cabin, and some bolts under the car right about your exhaust. there should be a head sheild that you can take off. pretty self explanitory once you get down there and start tracing when the cables go. -------------------- I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island
