My srt6 requires 0w-40 and recommends mobil 1. I guess I shouldn't feel so bad about the $75 oil changes now.
BTW I wouldn't waste the time or money on anything more than basic oil (or high mileage equivalent) in the celi unless you're turbo'd or supercharged. Hanyo is correct about synthetic though, it does have a higher change rating. My car says 7000. As for the 3k miles, that was a scam cooked up by oil companies back when cars still ran on leaded. My trailblazer has so far gone 24k miles since the last change and not a single problem, although I wouldn't push a performance engine to that extreme.
