Im planning to put in a kill switch connected to my fuel pump. Does anyone know which wire color is what and directions on how to install it? thanks

This is for a ST model, but it might be the same for the GT.
Right next to the ECU there is a Circuit Opening Relay ( COR). Its a pretty big relay with 5 wires. I don't have a repair manual anymore so I can't tell you what wire it is. But this is how it works- 12V from Fuse in Engine bay, 2 wires for ground, usually W/B or W. 12V from ECU. Tells the relay to turn on the fuel pump. 1 wire to Switch Fuel pump on. If you have the wiring diagram you can pin point the COR for that wire and solder in a kill switch. |
