guage needle readjustment, how do you readjust your guage needles?

Where does your tach idle when you turn your car on, or where should it idle rather, and how can I accurately readjust the speedometer??? Thus far I've gone from 40 mph over to 10 mph over, so I'm still working on it. Thanks guys and gals.

hey man, thanks a lot. That will be a little difficult though and I'm not yet too familiar with engine types and numbers, but I have a '94 ST so I'm not sure if it's the same but your redline speeds sound about the same as mine, so I'll have to try it. Thanks a lot man.

Make sure you do it on clear roads... I don't wanna ya coming back saying something bad happened... That's just gonna make me feel awful. Becareful if you try this...
