I myself HATE listening to "DING DING DING DING DING" when my door is open, is there anyway to disconnect it? In my 2003 Hyundai Elantra it was very simple, just unplug it, there was a DIY posted on that forum with pics to help you find the unit.........anyone know where ours is?

there was a thread on this a while back.... found it ►Click Here for Link◄
Its a little more complicated, depending on what you are looking/capable of doing, you can also just get a little clamp type thing to clamp the sensor down, so it seems like the door is closed, I know I have done that a few times Make sure you read through a bunch of the posts, i'm pretty sure there was some discrepancies on how to do it correctly, and may have been fixed down the posts, but im not 100% sure.
