 right engine oil for my celica gt |

Hi,
could you tell me what oil do you use for your engines?i use 0w-40 castrol edge now and it works great but should i use something else? |

Why would you use 0w40? It says 10w30 right on the oil cap. This isn't some super advanced, direct injected engine, it's a run of the mill DOHC 4 cylinder.

Yeah, I got 125 k miles on my, about 200 000 km and I run 10W30 Quaker State, Castrol or what is on sale. All non-synthetic. I also do not use crap Oil like AutoLab or some other really low no name cheap brand. You are in Europe so stick to some brand name oils in Europe like Castrol or ELF etc.. 10W30 should be fine for that climate. |
