Anybody heard any weakness in those cars?

^^ now that is nice. too bad toyota aint pushing for sports cars.

I dont really know all the details but the toyota version is believed to be a 2.0 or 2.5 n/a RWD. supposed to be high n/a output and fairly light weight. Subaru verison possibly haveing one of the turbo platforms and maybe even AWD As for teh original post. the 2010 sti is hatch only. 2011 sedan and maybe hatch as well. Subaru has much better reliability than the EVO, but the EVO is a much better building block for big performance. The 09/10 WRX ran 0-60 faster than the STi because the STi needed 3rd gear to hit 60. this can be fixed with a tune on stock parts Otherwise the STi beat it out. the WRX is definitely a solid performer still. The 2011 WRX hatch and sedan will both have the wide fenders like the STi as well as 17x8 in wide rims compared to 7" wide prior. |
