would like to ask about piping size when we say 2inch or 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 so on, is this the inner diameter or outer diameter? and what gauge or pipe thickness is best if I go stainless, some say that you connot use stainless on a turbo set up pipes will crack is this true

thanks fgvillegas, regarding cracks not on the pipe itself but on the joints where it was welded, guess it depends on the workmanship to
