would like to ask about piping size when we say 2inch or 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 so on, is this the inner diameter or outer diameter? and what gauge or pipe thickness is best if I go stainless, some say that you connot use stainless on a turbo set up pipes will crack is this true

i run 2" aluminium from the turbo to the intercooler then 2.5 to the throttle body. if you ahve a good shop, buy one of the ebay pipe kits and cut and shape the piping the way you need it
