Do you take it to redline or shift with the powerband?

even though i have an auto, i drive it like a manual lol
 i shift between 3 and 5k, about 5.5k when i floor it. i know its probably not the best thing to do with an auto, but I have to semi practice shifting before I do an a2m swap |
