Has anybody ever heard of the ST215. It supposedly has 260hp. I'm not sure about torque or anything else but here is the link. You will have to scroll down just a little and check out the pics too. It is from venus auto. They don't have it yet but what is it. A 4th gen 3S-GTE or is just another name for the group A engine?

I do not know if the the 2zz carries the same head and block as the SG! Hence the reason for the 2ZZ development.
I do not see the reason to come with the 2ZZ when they had a very good race proven engine of toyota history that I am aware of. The 2JZ was build off the SG (from what I hear). I can understand generations of 2ZZ, but this is the first generation of the engine. I could also understand is the 2ZZ was detune to 170hp or what ever that rediculous # it is. It would be nice to see that the air intake and the exhaust was a very restrictive system, hence <200hp. Just a few mods and  220 or so. well  There should have the 2zz in the GT and 5th gen or whatever 3SGE w/ VVTL-i in the GT-S model. 3SGE IV 99-00 86.0 86.0 1998 11.0 210 7600 ALTEZZA DVVTi 3SGE IV 98-99 86.0 86.0 1998 11.0 200 7000 CEL. SSIII ST202 I believed that all would agree with me on this matter. To make things even sound better, there should have a 3SGE VVTL-i w/ 256 -262 degree cams w/ TRD (Flywheel, clutch & pressure plate) w/ the ability to rev to 9K+ - 10Krpm, redline at 8K+ rpm due to the L in the VVTL-i kicking in. That would be fun Yeah I love it. That is why I want the 1999 Toyota Celica SIII  Yeah!
