				i need to remove the ignition lock cylinder. i dont want to just replace my door lock, and use two keys for locking and starting the car. i tried searching how to remove the lock cylinder. didnt find anything.

				No man, you don't have to remove everything. 
			
			
					
		Here's the process: You have to pull off the plastic piece that is on top of the steering wheel and in front of the ignition column. Then, you have to put the key in the ignition and turn it to the On position, NOT start. Get a small screw driver and find the hole on the top part of the ignition column near the front. Put the screw driver in there, press down, and put the key toward you and the inner part of the column should just slide right out. Hope this helps!
