 Break in |

What is the Normal Break in period for a fully rebuilt 3sgte. my guy at toyota says to take it easy for 5000 miles. Which sucks because I only drive the celi on the weekends.

Be sure to run non-synthetic oil in it for the first 1000 -1500 miles. Then switch to synthetic.
Also dont let the engine sit at any particular RPM for too long, including at idle. Never use the cruise control during break-in. -------------------- Scott
