So I have 2 12's in my trunk (hatchback) and it seems to rattle... just everything... The obvious thing was the hatchlid so i put washers under the bumpers to tighten it when it closes. I thought that would be it but I found out it rattled the panel on the inside of the lid, so I put a couple t-shirts between it and the door... Next I found that there was a space between the license plate light and the panel that was buzzing so i fixed that... now it seems that I can tell the whole thing the license plate sit inside of (above bumper between quarterpanel, you prolly know what I mean) is shaking only when hatch is closed, but when I close it and press down pretty hard that takes care of almost all the noise. I'm pretty sure that's the only thing I got left. Can anyone help me out? I can not figure out what to do about that other than glue weights to it and I feel that that might be a bad idea kindasad.gif I don't know much about systems in general other than what's good and how to install so there may be a simple product that can fix that, but for the car... That's a weird piece around the license plate, seems like I could do something about just that. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanka [=

it's actually the housing that the license plate sits in, no the plate itself. I have the same problem as you. When I press down on the plastic part, no vibration. I have to figure out a way to make it stronger

Exactly...i cant afford dynamat but i got some insulation and put behind the panels, around the spair tire and I turned the subs around. it helped the general noise but not really the vibrating housing. I was actually thinking id get under the car and use some insulating foam from the backside... cant take the molded bumper off... any thoughts on that anyone? I could always just pay someone to sit behind my car and press down at stoplights and when im skating and stuff... 45 cents an hour lol
