i was skimming through the forums and saw a topic on converting US spec celicas to all wheel drive using the all-trac drivetrain. i read that the possibility of the conversion working was slim to none. i thought it would be easier to convert it to rear wheel drive using the old jdm corolla(AE86) drivetrain. i was wondering if this was more feasible than all wheel drive.

oh most definatly. you dont want anything in the car. get the motor/ammenities in and situated w/ the tranny on, then work your way back to the rear diff., setup the suspension in the back, then do the front suspension, fuel tank and fuel lines, ignition system and battery, exhaust and intake systems then work your way in from there. next situate the shifter, work out the wiring, reinstall the dashing, situate and install the gauges, hook up the pedals, powersteering, braking system, ECU, get the steering column setup double check everything is plugged in and try firing it up. if it doesnt work, figure out the problem, get that thing fired up. then put the interior back togeather, and enjoy a RWD 4agze powered Celica. just that easy isnt it john??? ![]() -------------------- ![]() Believer, you'll leave her, in leaving them all No but I don't buy it Like anything you do, as anyone you are Cause I'm...
