Hi all. This is my first post, been reading on this forum for a while and its a great community. I am thouroughly enjoying my import '94 st202 w/superstrut (already had fun stopping that (superstrut) from clunking and veering around the road!). I noticed a wobble at idle a few months ago after a good thrashing, and have narrowed it down to cylinder number 2 having 8 Bar of compression, compared to the 13-14 present on the other three cylinders. I suspect a burnt exhaust valve and was just wondering how much this is likely to cost, bearing in mind I may as well get them all done at the same time. Im worried about HC emmissions come MOT time....
Also, can anyone recommend anyone who specialises in this engine in my area (Suffolk, East anglia). Ive heard of 3SGE specialists, but google failed me ![]() Thanks in advance, Mike ![]() |

ST202
13715-88460 ST205 13715-88480 price is USD 65.07 ea Intake valves are the same between GTE and GE, however having different part numbers for the exhaust valves, makes me think they are different?(prices for either GE or GTE should be the same price) I think PurpleLime meant, where can he go to get this fixed, Fensports is just an online shop. Since changing the valves are a pretty big job, I'd just want to be certain that was the fault, since it would be quite costly (hidden cost such as timing belt changing and labour for the work) . I'd suggest checking the NA sticky thread/ 3S-GE repair manual for troubleshooting -------------------- |
