I've searched around the forum for a while now, and I haven't come up with anything.
Is there a thread on here on how to rebuild the s54 manual transmission? Or does anyone know how to or the parts I would need? |

if theres currently no issues with it, you're wasting your time/money. what prompted my rebuild was the fact it wouldn't go into 5th gear. at almost 300,000 miles, 1st-4th was in perfect condition. 5th gear hub was destroyed, probably ran w/o oil too long or someone managed to shove it in 1st at highway speeds, bringing the input shaft up to a scary 30,000+ rpm
