Diego, get an LTX8 or something that controls timing. When I had my setup, the three times I broke a piston was because of timing. Even though I had an eManage, the stock ECU loved to advance the heck out of timing. I still have my 7A-FE waiting in the garage and will swap it to a Corolla or a Tercel when I finish my 3S swap. I won't bother with stock internals. The pistons are way weaker than the rods. I never hurt a rod. It was always a piston. Say no to stock internals (especially pistons) if you want over 220 reliable, long-lasting ponnies and you don't have a stand-alone ECU. It's MANDATORY. Timing advance is a problem with the stock ECU.
